Authentic Civil War Swords

I am looking to find information about a Civil War Sword made by Simon & Co in Boston, MA. This sword is old.?

This sword has an American Eagle with flags behind it on the handle. There is a design on the sword with U.S. within the design. It has Simon & Co Boston, MASS right below the handle on the backside of the sword. It appears to look like wheat stalks in the design. The sword is slightly bent at the tip. It has some rust on the sword and sheath. The sheath itself has two moveable circles near the sword handle and one more about a foot from those.There is a design there too and on the tip of sheath is a flower that has (leaves?) pointing downward. My husband accuired this sword about 40 years ago. We are not sure if this is an authentic or a replica sword. Any information you may give me will be helpful. We are not sure if this sword is worth anything.

If it’s what I’m thinking, it is either a militia sword or perhaps a fraternal sword (ie. Masonic) If it is fraternal, I have seen them sell between $100 and $200, if it is a militia sword, it could be a little more. Without a picture, it’s hard to tell for sure.
