I have a few questions about ancient military weapon worth …?
My father left me a question USMC M1911 .45 caliber pistol with three magazines. He has killed well over 5 Japanese soldiers, this rifle. He was issued in 1933, and carried them all through the Second World War and Korea. The gun is in excellent condition. my uncle who was stationed at U.S. Army in Germany, the German army had issued me a 9mm Luger, and it has two magazines. he did it from one of the many enemy infantry, he hung up. Gun shoots perfectly, all parts were taken from the original time meaning nothing was caught in. replaced since he They took the enemy. I'm never getting rid of weapons that, I will pass it on to my children when they turn of age. just out of curiosity … but how much do you think anyone magaznes involved would be worth it? guess I need an exact amount.
Depending on the model of the Luger, it is worth anywhere from several hundred dollars, of several thousand dollars. There is a special interest in collecting Lugers. I would encourage you not to shoot it, but do not try to keep it lubed, all "rust etc" clean and get it off immediately assessed. If it turns out, one of the less desirable models that are still worth $ $, then shoot it, if you choose. On the 1911, it depends on which manufacturer made it, mail me the info, and I value you get in the ball park as far as that one. Shoot safe.
