SC 8806 - Very large Albumen of a Confederate rebel holding his huge side knife. This image is guaranteed 100% original, it comes in original period frame which measures 12 x 14. image has some foxing & a few lines/ cracks (see picture for details), but displays really well. These images of Confederates with big blades are very rare and desirable memorabilia. On the back written in pencil is the name Luke Taylor on the first line then appears to read one hundred 62, next line Jan. 1869 birthday, next line out of Civil War. (I think this picture was given to someone on there birthday) I am not a researcher, so I don't what unit he was in. This came out of an old Virginia estate. *$759.99 Sold
SC 8801 - UNION TINTYPE-YOUNG BOY -For your consideration, I am offering a small tintype on a card. It has attractive lace around the image. This photo is of a young Union soldier with his kepi on and slightly cocked to one side. A very handsome young man. The image has a little flaking on the soldier's right shoulder if you're looking at the picture. Other than that, it's a nice, clear image. Sold

SC 8803 - ARMED UNION SGT- For your consideration, I am offering this very neat ambrotype of an armed Civil War sergeant. He has his musket and bayonet clearly visible. He has a eagle breastplate and a U.S. belt buckle with his percussion cap pouch visible. SC 8804/ CIVIL WAR SOLDIER AMBROTYPE - For your consideration, I am offering this ambrotype of a young soldier. Possibly Confederate, he's posing with his hands clasped together. He's very neatly dressed. The buttons on the coat appear to be standard eagle buttons, which were used by both sides during the Civil War. There is some flaking to the image (see picture for details). Unmatted dimensions measure 2.75 x 3.25". Sold
